Dr Sharon Nyesiga

Sharon Nyesiga is a medical doctor living in Kampala Uganda. She has recently completed her Masters of Medicine in Internal Medicine from Makerere University College of health sciences.

Sharon is passionate about improving care for critically ill patients in Uganda. Her emphasis is on those patients with sepsis. She has done research on sepsis burden and performance of the QSOFA score in the medical emergency ward of Mulago Hospital. She has also recently joined the team at Africa Research Collaboration on Sepsis (ARCS) as a fellow.

She is a member of the Uganda medical association.
